AFTER-SCHOOL GOOD NEWS CLUB®
After-school GNCs work in cooperation with public schools to supplement the children's education with biblical principles. Since the Supreme Court decision in June 2001 confirmed the freedom of access to elementary public schools, thousands of clubs have started. It is our goal to have a Good News Club® in every elementary school. Each club also includes strong discipleship training to build character and strengthen moral and spiritual growth. All clubbers are encouraged to attend a local church. Local churches are encouraged to adopt a school to provide outreach to the children and their families in their community. Contact us to find out how to get a club started in a school near you!

How you can get involved?
For more information about an existing Good News Club® or to learn how to start one at your school call the Northern California CEF® Sacramento Chapter Office at (916) 470-0917. Currently, we are in two school districts: Elk Grove, and Folsom and looking for volunteers to help start up GNC's in the Sacramento district. We also have a school in Woodland with an after school GNC. |
